EGWM October Sprint

Reliable, accurate, and accessible indicators are a fundamental in the development of statistical frameworks and manuals that can support comparable monitoring and evaluation against frameworks, whilst also enhancing the information available to policymakers.

The October sprint of the Expert Group on Wellbeing Measurement will explore the indicator sets used in key wellbeing-related frameworks, including UN-Habitat’s Quality of Life Framework, the UNECE Wellbeing Manual and Norway's SDG taxonomy with user case presented by Statistics Norway and The Norwegian Association of Local and Regional Authorities (KS).

This session will provide a platform for speakers to showcase the indicators relevant to their areas of work. It will also offer an opportunity for participants to identify potential overlaps and synergies across frameworks, paving the way for collaborative efforts in developing and refining indicators focused on wellbeing measurement.
