This agenda item invites members to reflect on the composition of the Network with a view to strengthening its effectiveness and inclusiveness. Over time, participation patterns and global engagement in the field have evolved, creating an opportunity to ensure that the Network’s membership continues to reflect both active contribution and broad geographic representation. A thoughtful refresh of membership would help align the Network with emerging and frontier challenges, encourage sustained engagement from members to contribute to its work programme, and ensure that diverse regional perspectives are adequately represented in discussions and outputs. Members are invited to share views on how the Network’s composition can best support its mandate and ongoing relevance.
